The purpose of the initial consultation is a meet and greet for you and your family with the doctor. The aim is to discuss your health concerns, health history, and goals you wish to achieve from care and to assess any underlying concerns.
Our exam process is non-invasive and will establish the level of brain and body connection and proper movement. Tests can include reflexes, flexibility, neurological assessment, orthopedic testing, and postural and physical tests. Digital x-rays are also taken to identify structural imbalances if deemed necessary. X-rays help us locate any bone abnormalities, fractures, abnormal curvatures, and reveal any phase of spinal degeneration or osteoarthritis.
After reviewing all information gathered, the doctor will give you an accurate assessment of your current health status, primarily focused on the condition of your spine and nerve system. Following this discussion comes the recommendation of care based purely on the tests and examinations conducted. It takes into consideration the severity of your concerns, age and condition of your spine, and time frame of how long the problem has been present.
The most important part is establishing mutually achievable goals from care that we can work towards. Should you decide to begin care, the next step is beginning your personalized care plan.
